Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Coral Gables, Florida. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish and offers an excellent opportunity to support legal operations while collaborating with a dynamic team. Responsibilities:

Organize and manage legal calendars, ensuring all deadlines and appointments are accurately scheduled.

Handle e-filing processes for legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

Draft and prepare legal correspondence and documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Utilize Prolaw software for time tracking and billing tasks.

Prepare outgoing mail and responses in accordance with legal procedures.

Manage daily mail operations, ensuring timely distribution and processing.

Answer and manage phone operations professionally, addressing client and team inquiries.

Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless workflow and task completion.

Support the preparation of drafts and other legal materials as needed.

Maintain and update legal files and records in an organized manner. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Hands-on experience with e-filing and calendar management in a legal setting.

Strong ability to draft legal documents and correspondence with attention to detail.

Familiarity with Prolaw software for time tracking and billing.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates attention to detail in phone etiquette and communication skills.

Adept at handling daily mail operations and preparing legal responses.
