Description

We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. This short-term contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a proactive attitude and exceptional organizational skills to contribute to the smooth operation of our office. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks, as well as errands and travel arrangements, ensuring the office runs efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage travel arrangements, including booking flights and hotels.

Handle the procurement of office supplies and kitchen essentials, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.

Perform clerical duties such as scanning documents, filing, and other administrative tasks.

Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring all processes are running smoothly.

Run errands as needed, including grocery shopping and other essential tasks.

Assist with receptionist duties by greeting visitors and managing incoming calls.

Replenish office and kitchen supplies to meet ongoing organizational needs.

Use the company vehicle for work-related errands during the day.

Support various operational tasks to enhance overall office efficiency.

Requirements - Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Familiarity with booking travel arrangements, including flights and hotels.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage errands and office supply orders efficiently.

Proficiency in basic computer applications and document scanning.

Dependable and able to adapt to daily operational needs.
