Mechanical Drafter / Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

Generate, modify, and organize general arrangement and physical outline drawings using the latest AutoCAD tools

Support customer approvals and manufacturing by delivering accurate, on-time drawing packages

Perform CAD file conversions as needed

Create 3D models using ProEngineer (Creo) for customer-specific circuit breakers

Review mechanical and electrical drawings for technical accuracy and clarity

Prepare approval and as-built drawing packages, CT curves, and test reports for customer submittals

Maintain and manage all engineering drawings in the EDMATS document management system

Prepare device tag files to support procurement and planning teams

What We're Looking For

This role is ideal for recent graduates, early-career engineers, or experienced drafters who want exposure to real engineering projects.

Required Skills

Proficiency with mechanical CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or ProEngineer (Creo)

At least 1 year of CAD-based drafting or design experience (internships and co-ops welcome!)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Mechanical Design, or 3D Modeling

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleroi, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $31.25/hr.
