Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This is a long-term contract position that offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations and ensure the smooth handling of accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will bring a detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all aspects of their work.

Responsibilities:

Review and validate new customer contracts and agreements to ensure accurate billing setup and compliance with company policies.

Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring necessary documentation and system entries are complete.

Generate and issue customer invoices based on contract terms, software usage, and service delivery schedules.

Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and perform light collections duties to maintain positive cash flow.

Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Finance) to resolve billing discrepancies and support efficient AR operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, including billing and cash applications.

Strong knowledge of commercial collections and handling outstanding payments.

Familiarity with financial reporting and cash activity monitoring.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

Capability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
