Job Overview

Individual will run Acme and Davenport screw machines. This is an o utstanding opportunity for a qualified mechanically inclined machine set-up/operator to work with a great company that offers excellent benefits. A Day In The Life

Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine.

Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications.

Responsible for conformance with quality specifications.

Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, trouble shooting, and maintenance activities.

Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines.

What will help you thrive in this role?

1-3 years of Screw Machine experience

Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion

Mechanically inclined - Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixings things both familiar and unfamiliar.
