Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and manage various warehouse operations. This role requires a dynamic individual to lead shipping, receiving, inventory management, light manufacturing, and ensure facility safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
Direct all inbound and outbound freight operations including receiving, inspection, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely system entry of all transactions in SAP.
Coordinate daily shipments to meet customer delivery timelines.
Maintain relationships with domestic and international carriers to support cost-effective, on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and physical inventories.
Ensure material availability to support production and customer orders.
Monitor inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Develop and manage inventory locations for efficient storage and space utilization.
Manage disposition of slow-moving or excess inventory.
Oversee light assembly/manufacturing operations to ensure productivity and quality standards.
Verify finished goods meet company specifications prior to shipment.
Coordinate closely with procurement and customer service to support order fulfillment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Oversee facility upkeep including warehouse equipment, forklifts, vehicles, and loading areas.
Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA standards and applicable environmental/safety regulations.
Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures and training.
Maintain data integrity within SAP Business One; generate operational reports as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff to meet operational objectives.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
Partner with Finance, HR, and other departments to support company goals.
Support ad hoc operational initiatives as needed.
Essential Skills
5+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing operations experience.
3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP Business One preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, especially within upholstery.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.

Work Environment
The role is based at a facility in Berkeley where light manufacturing and final assembly are conducted. The warehouse supervisor will oversee the warehouse department, managing a team of 5-10 employees, including 2 leads and several warehouse associates. The company operates in a collaborative environment with the majority of manufacturing done at their facility in Indonesia.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Calendar year deductible: $50
Preventative care: 100% coverage
Basic care: 80% coverage
Major care: 50% coverage
Orthodontia: coverage of up to $1000 for dependent children to age 19
401(k) (PayChex): Employee contribution only. Waiting period is 90-days.
PTO (Paid Time Off):
Eligible after completion of 90-days of employment
10 days per year (accrued at 1.53 hours per week or .834 days per month)
Maximum accrual: 1.7 times annual allocation
