As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Shelbyville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe and report unusual activity, and provide clear customer service and communication to employees, contractors, and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries; verify credentials and/or authorization as required by post orders.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and document actions taken.

Complete routine security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and report maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
