As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for service, assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, and document key observations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.

Carry authorized duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and location policies, maintain required qualifications, and use sound judgment and de-escalation techniques to help reduce risk during security-related events.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with disorderly persons, visitor issues, and support for clinical teams as requested.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of entrances, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptive behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Complete timely documentation such as incident reports and patrol logs, communicate status updates to leadership and local contacts, and coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Work in a hospital environment where vaccines are present.

Work in a hospital morgue environment.

Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Be able to restrain individuals.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
