Operations Field Support Supervisor - Work Management
We are seeking an inspiring and strategic Operations Work Management Field Support Specialist Supervisor to lead and develop a high-performing team that supports Water, Wastewater, and Support Services in Operations. This leadership role focuses on fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement in alignment with our organization's strategic goals.
As a frontline leader for Operations Work Management, you will play a key role in developing your team's capabilities, streamlining work management processes, and driving operational excellence. You will partner with internal stakeholders to implement best practices, enhance coordination between Work Management and Stakeholders, and ensure the accurate and timely execution of daily assignments and project tasks.

What you'll be doing:
Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the Operations Field Support Specialist team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and Work Management excellence
Collaborate closely with Water and Wastewater Operations, Support Services, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to work management best practices.
Serve as a liaison between Operations Work Management and other departments to identify and remove process roadblocks, improve communication, and strengthen cross-functional workflows
Lead initiatives to standardize and continuously improve processes by evaluating technology solutions to automate and/or streamline work activities
Develop and implement clear performance goals and metrics; track progress and provide regular coaching and feedback to team members
Participate in organization-wide Work Management initiatives, contributing insights from Operations and supporting enterprise-level process improvements
Champion the adoption of new systems, tools, or technologies that enhance operational support efficiency and data accuracy
Work with peers in Operations Work Management to standardize performance expectations, processes, and SLAs
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and organizational policies, promoting a safe and proactive work environment
Analyze trends and data to identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and service quality improvement, including workforce planning
Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of team members to build a skilled and resilient workforce
Who You Are: Qualified candidates will most likely have four or more years of experience working in business operations and 3-5 years of leadership experience. An associate's degree or higher is preferred. This position is best suited for a motivated and driven individual who is eager to promote Work Management best practices, drive continuous improvement efforts, and champion a positive working environment. You must demonstrate influential leadership skills that cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration, accountability, and productivity, empowered by data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for establishing metrics, targets, and goals used to evaluate performance. You'll also be responsible for hiring and training staff, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing work to ensure adequate resources and staff coverage are available to meet ongoing resource requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a small amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions within an office working environment.
