Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking products. This individual also counts and inspects products, notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and are expected to perform all assigned duties.

Shifts available: from 4:00 pm to 4:30 am, with alternating workdays and days off.

Responsibilities

Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.

Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas.

Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.

Perform all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential Skills

Experience with using a pallet jack, receiver, and walkie.

6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.

Current or prior MHE certification for EPJ (Walkie).

Experience with sit-down forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled warehouse distribution center. The facility is highly secured, requiring security checks similar to an airport for entry. No cell phones or wallets are allowed inside; however, lockers are provided for personal belongings. Shifts available: from 4:00 pm to 4:30 am, with alternating workdays and days off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hainesport, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
