Senior Security Engineer (San Francisco, CA)

Perform structural blast engineering calculations for building and tunnel structures.

Design structural connections for blast loading.

Develop hostile vehicle mitigation schemes for public and private clients.

Perform vehicle impact calculations.

Manage small blast engineering tasks.

Develop presentations of highly technical blast engineering results to share with non-technical audiences.

Initiate and lead blast engineering research projects.

Conduct drawing and specification reviews to support design teams with the integration of protective design measures.

Conduct protective design product research and vetting to advise clients and design teams.

Prepare drawings, sketches, and specifications to communicate design intent and performance requirements of protective design measures.

Perform construction administration, inclusive of contractor submittal reviews, and respond to RFI's.

Collaborate with a multi-discipline design team to develop innovative solutions to address security threats and risks.

Perform threat and vulnerability assessments for security conscious clients.

Contribute to internal technical research initiatives to improve existing methods and processes.

Requires Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience.

Salary range: $134,763.00 - $144,600.00 /year
