Responsibilities:

Escorts and observes Customers and Associates to ensure their safety and protection

Identifies potential safety hazards and reports same to the appropriate individual for proper resolution.

Becomes familiar with hazardous materials used on property, and all applicable laws, rules and regulations governing same.

Acts as a Dispatcher during emergency situations, coordinating solutions and informing outside agencies of any unusual or suspicious activity on property.

Operates company vehicles as directed.

Ensures safe transportation of company moneys

Assists in the opening and closing of the gaming floor.

Delivers excellent service and maintains appropriate communication with both internal and external guests.

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The Associate is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The Associate is required to stand for the majority of their shift. The Associate is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The Associate is regularly required to lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to one hundred pounds.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required.

A NYS Security Guard License is required for this position as well as the ability to obtain a license with the NYS Gaming Commission. We offer training needed to obtain the Security Guard License and our internal HR department will initiate your license with the Gaming Commission.

**Fees incurred as a result of licensing are eligible for reimbursement following 90 days of employment.
