Location: Warner Robins, GA

Shift: Second Shift - 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM

Shift Days: Wednesday-Saturday (Off: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days/week - Must be available for all assigned shifts

About the Role

PDS Defense Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Management Specialist I to support critical AOG (Aircraft on Ground) MICAP operations for our United States Air Force customer. This is a dual cross-functional role that blends high-priority logistics execution with transportation risk mitigation activities.

You will work directly with the C-17 AOG MICAP team, supporting high-value, time-sensitive shipments and ensuring operational excellence. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, and is motivated by mission readiness and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage high-priority AOG/MICAP orders from initiation through final after-action requirements.

Support transportation & logistics risk-mitigation strategies for the C-17 AOG MICAP Team.

Oversee day-to-day performance of transportation service providers to ensure contractual compliance.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, service providers, and key business partners.

Monitor high-value shipments, troubleshoot delays, and ensure rapid escalation when needed.

Support the development of logistics processes, best practices, and continuous improvement strategies.

Contribute to team goals with a customer-focused mindset and proactive communication.

Required Qualifications

3-5 years of supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related experience.

Foundational understanding of supply chain management principles.

Ability to work a fixed second-shift schedule (Wed-Sat, 1:30 PM-12:00 AM).

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Experience working in fast-paced, priority-driven environments.

Education

Typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree , or

An equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., 4+ years of relevant experience ).
