About the Role
We are seeking a motivated early-career data professional to support our data infrastructure development and governance. This role will report to the Sr. Manager, Data Platform and AI Strategy within the Data organization and be part of a tight-knit and supportive team of data experts.
In this role, you'll assist in optimizing data pipelines and supporting data operations and analysis to enhance the Resy Credit benefit and its related operations. You'll help automate manual processes using tools like Python and SQL and participate in developing scalable data solutions in collaboration with senior team members.
You'll also support governance initiatives, including compliance and controls management, working alongside team members and stakeholders across the business. Your work will play a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our analytics infrastructure.
As part of a lean data team, you will have the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of domains. You'll help the team intake and prioritize projects, build documentation, and execute new and existing initiatives.
What you'll do
Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and platform infrastructure to help support the Resy Credit benefit
Help build and document compliance and data privacy controls to ensure risk reduction and responsible data practices
Collaborate on data quality, architecture, and integration projects by gathering requirements and writing documentation and tests
Use SQL and Python to support analysis and turn raw data into actionable insights
Support dbt model changes and contribute to testing and monitoring data processes
Participate in cross-functional initiatives with teams like Engineering and Marketing
Work as part of a collaborative, fast-moving team that builds impactful, scalable data solutions
Be an integral part of a growing team that develops innovative data solutions for Resy
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or 1-2 years in a related role such as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data analyst, data scientist, data architect.
Self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to tackle challenges with creativity and curiosity
Eager to learn and growing your skillset is important to you
Familiarity with modern data stack components like dbt, Snowflake and Git
Experience writing basic SQL and Python
Exposure to ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehouse design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work well with both technical and non-technical teams
Interest in compliance, data privacy, and responsible data practices
Excited to contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
Experience in or enthusiasm for the restaurant and food tech industry a plus
Qualifications
Salary Range: $78,000.00 to $124,750.00 annually bonus benefits
