Job Title: Electrical Testing Technician Job Description
As an Electrical Testing Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical, dielectric, structural, and safety inspections on a variety of equipment. This includes hand-held insulating live-line tools, temporary grounding jumpers, insulated by-pass jumpers, insulating blankets, fiberglass bucket liners, insulated aerial devices, digger derricks, aerial lifts, and insulated protective equipment. You will set up and operate high-voltage test equipment, monitor leakage current, flashover, arcing, and other failure indicators, and determine and document pass/fail results according to applicable standards.

Essential Skills
Electrical testing experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Mechanical aptitude.

Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to travel overnight at times throughout the week.
Industrial maintenance experience.
Mechanically inclined.
Ability to lift and handle testing equipment and materials.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to climb on and around trucks, aerial devices.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
