As a Security Officer - Construction Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic retail mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests, tenants, and staff with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy requirements. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, parking structures, service corridors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with minor disputes, medical calls for service, and/or suspicious activity reports.

Monitor activity using observation and available systems such as cameras and/or alarm panels, and communicate issues to property management and/or local responders as needed.

Document patrols, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in written reports and log entries according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
