Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Princeton, New Jersey

Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Type: Contract with possible extension

Compensation: $ 20 - $22 per hour

Reputable Consumer Product Goods (CPG) company seeking entry level candidates with basic wet chemistry technical lab skills. Will consider academic lab experience!

Responsibilities

Prepare Laundry product formulations (detergents) measure pH, specific gravity and viscosity, perform stability tests, detergent & softener performance evaluation, fragrance evaluation by test panels, record keeping and housekeeping.

Conduct all applicable testing relating to fabric care in the Laundry Lab group.

Will be utilizing washing machines for fabric care projects.

Requirements

BS Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related Science

Hands on laboratory experience preferred (can be from school)

Preference is for experience with wet chemistry (pH, viscosity, titrations, etc.)

Must be comfortable lifting up to 40lbs (e.g. lifting of laundry detergent and related products)

Must be able to work in a fast paced, high priority environment

Must have strong work ethic and attention to detail!!!

Other Requirements

Good Organizational and documentation skills (accurate lab notebook maintenance) Strong computer skills a plus. Should possess strong work ethic, and have good teamwork attitude.

NOTE: Potential to drive to the Rocky Hill, NJ site on occasions (very infrequent).
