Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will actively engage with your hands throughout the day. You will be involved in disassembling electronics using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers. The role requires computer and data entry experience as you will be using a proprietary internal system and Microsoft Excel for inventory purposes.

Responsibilities

Disassemble computer components, including outdated and damaged server racks and memory banks.

Perform tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the day.

Rotate through several departments within the warehouse, adapting to varying tasks day-to-day.

Maintain a safe work environment by wearing steel toe or composite boots from day one.

Utilize basic hand tools effectively for disassembly projects.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Proficiency in computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel.

Ability to follow written directions accurately.

Capability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

Competence in using hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with warehouse inventory processes.

Experience with material handling, packing, picking, and using RF scanners.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

The warehouse is a facility dedicated to processing old computers, racks, servers, and more. The team wipes data from these items to either resell or destroy and sell the materials. The work environment is teamwork-oriented, requiring strong attention to detail for sorting materials. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, with a requirement to wear steel toe or composite boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Front Royal, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
