Warehouse Operations Associate

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Shipping / receiving

Controlling, managing, and tracking inventory and tooling

Loading / unloading company trucks

Operating forklifts

Cleaning / organizing the shop and warehouse (inside & outside)

General labor

Basic Microsoft Office knowledge

All other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older

Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Adequate physical strength and stamina to repeatedly lift, carry, move, and set down up to 75 lbs

Able to stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures (hot/cold)

Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack

Able to read and comprehend written and visual instructions in English

Knowledge of heavy equipment preferred, but not required

Highly organized with strong work ethic

Education & Experience:

6+ months of experience in a warehouse environment preferred, but not required

A high school diploma, equivalent, or proof of relevant work experience

Pre Employment:

Candidates may be required to complete and pass a pre employment drug screen, background check, and/or MVR check.

License & Certification Requirements

A valid driver's license is required

Ability to obtain a Driver's Medical Certification Card to operate light/medium duty vehicles

If unable to obtain a license, please discuss during the interview process

Travel Requirements

Must be willing to travel in state and occasionally out of state to deliver materials or tools

Overnight stays may be required a few times per year due to PPE changeouts

Physical Requirements

Rarely (

Occasionally (up to 33%): Stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, climbing ladders/stairs

Frequently (up to 66%): Walking, manual dexterity, climbing on/off trucks, lifting 10-50 lbs, reaching, depth perception, pulling, speaking clearly, gripping, hearing, color vision, pushing, carrying, balancing

Continuously (up to 100%): Seeing, standing, reading, speaking clearly, lifting up to 10 lbs

Safety Requirements

Due to the inherently hazardous nature of the industry, employees must:

Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods

Be able to judge distance and coordinate movements while using equipment

Work safely outdoors in all weather conditions

Wear all required PPE

Enter and exit vehicles repeatedly

Traverse various terrain @types

Communicate clearly with coworkers

Read, write, and follow instructions

Handle conflict professionally
