Description We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves managing diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment, including financial reconciliations, data processing, and administrative support for various programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Complete monthly checking account reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness.

Process and mail contribution checks while ensuring proper documentation.

Record financial transactions across multiple systems with precision.

Update and maintain local charters and manage related administrative tasks.

Support awards and incentive programs through effective coordination and planning.

Extract, reformat, validate, and import data between systems as needed.

Utilize Microsoft Office tools to organize, save, rename, and transfer files.

Handle routine data movement tasks, including exporting information and ensuring proper formatting.

Maintain a well-organized workspace to efficiently manage multiple priorities.

Assist with invoicing and payables tasks, applying basic accounting knowledge. Requirements - Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions and tools.

Basic understanding of accounting principles, with experience in invoicing and payables preferred.

Ability to efficiently handle routine data movement tasks, including importing and exporting between systems.

Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office Suite for file management and organization.

Excellent organizational abilities to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Strong multitasking skills to adapt to a dynamic workload.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data and records.

Experience in administrative roles, including receptionist duties and data entry. TalentMatch®
