As an Event Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of creating memorable experiences for our guests. From weddings to corporate retreats, you'll bring events to life with your impeccable organization, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor. Guided by the Group Sales Manager and Catering & Sales Manager, you'll collaborate with clients and colleagues, making every day a new and rewarding challenge.

You're not just managing schedules; you're the creative force behind seamless events, ensuring every detail is perfect. Your role is essential to our success and reputation.

You'll also dive into managing timelines, communicating with vendors, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love combining logistics with a touch of creativity, this role is perfect for you!

You'll be working your magic on a full-time, year-round basis at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center in Bar Harbor, Maine. Your schedule will include evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. The starting wage is $21 per hour.

Full-Time Year-Round Unique Benefits

Paid Time Off: Earn up to 136 hours in your first year (prorated based on hire date). The longer you're with us, the more you earn.

Essential Duties

Coordinate with clients to plan and execute events, ensuring all their needs are met.

Manage event logistics, including setup, staffing, and schedules.

Communicate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.

Oversee the event day operations to guarantee smooth execution.

Collaborate with the hotel team to provide outstanding guest experiences.

Maintain accurate records and billing for events.

Assist with event marketing and client outreach as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills Required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.

Calm under pressure, with problem-solving finesse.

Education and Experience

Prior event coordination or hospitality experience preferred. We will train the right candidate.

Performance Measurement

90-day performance review, annual performance review, client feedback, and team collaboration.
