The Supply Chain Digitization Lead serves as a strategic consultant and change agent responsible for assessing current-state supply chain capabilities and connecting to future-state solutions that leverage advanced digital tools like AI, Agentic Automation, Advanced analytics, and Applications across Oshkosh Corporation. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Digital Technology, and Business leadership to identify gaps, quantify value, and lead the deployment of scalable, data-driven improvements across planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and aftermarket operations to deliver an Intelligent Supply Chain practice.
YOUR IMPACT
Drive the vision and roadmap for digital supply chain transformation, aligned to the business strategy of procurement excellence- driving intelligence, cost reduction and efficiencies into the global supply chain
Conduct end-to-end supply chain current state assessments, including:
Supply Planning
Procurement and supplier collaboration
Strategic supplier management
Inventory and Materials
Logistics, Distribution and fulfillment
Lead Investigation and selection of critical digital procurement systems
Partner with business units and cross-functional teams to identify high-impact use cases
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand pain points and opportunities for AI-driven improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant in applying AI and automation technologies to practical business use cases.
Support proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot implementations of new solutions and platforms.
Influence the operations of high volume, high complexity supply chain processes to deploy end to end digital solutions driving world class performance and resiliency
Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure proper integration and scalability of solutions.
Establish success metrics, build financial business cases and champion solutions from concept through buy in
Stay current on trends in AI and automation, continuously scanning the market for innovative tools and techniques.
Facilitate workshops, vendor reviews, design sessions and executive read outs
Act as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain and Operations Leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain or Operations Transformation
Demonstrated experience working in large, complex manufacturing or industrial companies
Deep understanding of Supply planning, S&OP, Materials Management, Manufacturing operations and constraints, Procurement and Strategic supplier management, logistics and distribution networks
Proven track record of assessing current state and deploying/recommending future-state digital solutions
Proficiency in connecting to Digital solutions available (Applications, AI, Analytics etc) with Strong ability to connect Process, Data and Technology
Strong Communication, Management through influence skills
Experience building Business case, Financial ROIs, and Roadmaps based on opportunity
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Supply chain management, Operations, Business or related field
Prior experience in one or more of the following roles:
Supply Chain Transformation Lead
Management Consultant (manufacturing / supply chain focus)
Digital Supply Chain or Advanced Analytics Leader
Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence Leader with strong digital exposure
Strong consultative mindset with structured problem-solving capability
Pay Range:
$118,700.00 - $211,300.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
