Primary Objective
A Senior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for providing value to the team by using analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance supply chain processes. They have responsibility for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support Supply Chain planning and operations. They analyze the movement of goods through the supply pipeline, monitor current processes, identify, and analyze gaps, and develop process improvements. A Senior Supply Chain Analyst is expected to use their skills in database management and spreadsheet analysis to help the business increase cash flows, inventory turns, and employee productivity.
Major Areas of Accountability
Work with the IT and the Data Scientist role to deliver high quality, actionable information:
Extract and analyze highly complex data from SAP, or other data sources, using Excel/VBA programming, PowerBI, and other tools as necessary
Develop new reports and dashboards, analyze existing reports and dashboards, update and analyze KPI's and distribute them to key stakeholders.
Automate reporting and processes
Gathers and interprets relevant data (inventory, costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.)
Lead Supply Chain/IT projects to improve the supply chain processes, automate reporting, and dash boards
Inventory Lifecycle Management (Excess & Obsolete)
Lead our inventory Obsolescence and Excess material program managing out aged inventory
Work collaboratively with business partners to identify potential use of E&O material
Work with the warehouse, production, or supply chain to convert the material to a useable product
Use understanding of supply chain principles and appropriate analytics techniques to identify bottlenecks and critical control points in MTS's supply chain.
Work with Supply Chain team, Operations team, and other stakeholders to achieve or exceed the business metrics, including revenue, operating profit, customer OTD, supplier OTD, sourcing savings, and inventory reduction
Investigates problems, finds root causes, and develops solutions
Manages Supply Chain compliance programs like Conflict Minerals and PFAS and EPR reporting
Create and execute personal talent development plans
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, and minimum 3 years' experience in a planning or purchasing role, or equivalent education and experience within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with MRP systems required
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Advanced Excel experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Analytical software experience such as Power BI, tableau or SQL preferred.
Experience using SAP
APICS or ISM certification

Compensation Information:
$88,880 - $120,000 Annual Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
