The Finance Digitization Lead serves as a strategic consultant and transformation leader responsible for assessing current-state finance capabilities to drive the design and execution of future-state digital solutions across Oshkosh Finance. This role partners closely with Finance, DT, and Business Leadership to modernize core finance processes through automation, advanced analytics, AI, and scalable digital platforms.
This position focuses on enabling a data-driven, efficient, and intelligent Finance organization across core domains including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Cost Accounting, Capital Management, Treasury, Tax, and Compliance.
YOUR IMPACT
Drive the vision and roadmap for digital transformation within Oshkosh Finance, aligned to the business strategy
Conduct end-to-end finance process assessments across:
Record-to-Report (General Ledger, Close & Consolidation)
Order-to-Cash (Billing, Revenue Recognition, AR, Credit & Collections)
Procure-to-Pay (AP, T&E, Supplier Payments)
FP&A (Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Modeling)
Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance
Capital Expenditure, Treasury, Tax, and Compliance
Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, data quality issues, and automation opportunities across global manufacturing operations.
Define and drive the Finance digitization vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy.
Translate business objectives into scalable digital solutions utilizing advanced solutions with AI, Agentic Automation, Advanced analytics and applications
Prioritize initiatives based on value, risk reduction, and organizational readiness.
Partner with Finance stakeholders to identify high-impact AI and automation use cases (e.g., close acceleration, anomaly detection, working capital optimization).
Support proof-of-concept (POC) and pilot initiatives, ensuring measurable outcomes and scalability.
Act as a trusted advisor to Finance Leadership, providing thought leadership on digital finance trends and best practices.
Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and executive readouts to align stakeholders and drive adoption.
Build robust financial business cases, ROI models, and success metrics.
Track benefits realization post-implementation and continuously optimize solutions.
Stay current on emerging Finance technology trends, regulatory impacts, and digital innovations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or Digital Transformation roles
Demonstrated experience in large, complex manufacturing or industrial organizations
Strong understanding of core Finance processes including R2R, O2C, P2P, FP&A, and Cost Accounting
Proven ability to assess current state, define future state, and lead digital transformation initiatives
Strong capability to connect process, data, and technology into practical, value-driven solutions
Experience building financial business cases, ROI models, and transformation roadmaps
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in one or more of the following roles:
Finance Transformation Lead
Management Consultant (Finance / Manufacturing focus)
Digital Finance or Advanced Analytics Leader
Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence Leader with Finance focus
Experience financial planning tools, analytics platforms, and automation technologies
Strong consultative mindset with structured problem-solving and executive presence
Pay Range:
$118,700.00 - $211,300.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
