Responsibilities

This position is responsible for supporting the field sales organization, internal management and external customer with reporting and data analysis that provides clear and actionable insights in the areas of category management, promotions and overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate will be a creative, motivated, independent, detail-oriented worker with strong analytical, mathematical and communication skills.

Develops processes to integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources, through use of automation tools which efficiently produce routine reports and maintain data tables

Creates and utilizes Tableau/Power BI visualizations to identify meaningful insights from data sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers.

Design reports and analytic applications in a presentable and actionable format that customers can leverage for clear insights and predictive modeling.

Support sales and account management teams in the development of new business opportunities with existing and new customers.

Customer analysis and consultation through development, preparation and presentation to customers, lottery officials and retailers.

Assist customers in helping them drive business growth and ROI through unique and creative analysis.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in a field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Market Research, etc.

Experience: At least 3 years of work experience in data science, data mining or related field

Expert-level knowledge of Tableau/Power BI software and visualizations.

Ability to critically evaluate and understand complex business problems, define a solution, and implement it.

Fluent data analysis; ideally SAS, Python, SQL, R, or Knime

SAP Business Objects knowledge to ensure data accuracy and quality assurance

Must be a team player with excellent problem-solving skills and have experience effectively communicating analytical insights with mid/upper-level management.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $80,000 - $95,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
