We farm 9,500 acres of soybeans, canola, spring wheat, flax, peas and barley, as well as put up hay. Employees will assist with planting, spraying, fertilizing, and operating a combine, tractors, & harrow. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing/harvesting these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and shop. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.
Job requires extensive sitting and repetitive movements. Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company HR hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
