Job Description:

Duration/Hours :

Pay rate: $20/hour

FLSA: Non-exempt

ABA's Externship provides high school-aged students the opportunity to get paid while learning from one of the biggest trade associations in Washington, DC. This extremely selective opportunity will afford a student the opportunity to shadow various staff members and executives across the association, observe real work, participate in curated training, build a network, and make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities

Shadow various members of ABA staff to learn about their roles.

Ask questions and seek information required by your High School Program

Participate in structured and unstructured training and learning

Learn useful technology such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

Required Skills

Professional demeanor

Strong written and verbal communication

Structured thinking

Interest in Banking and the Trade Association space

Minimum Education Requirements

High School Senior preparing to graduate

Salary Band Range:

$15.00 - $37.50 - $60.00
