The Warehouse Worker supports daily operations in a high-volume, automated distribution center, focusing on order picking, packing, and shipping. The role works closely with AutoStore robotic systems and involves repetitive, ergonomically sensitive tasks requiring accuracy and physical stamina. Training is provided on day one to ensure quick onboarding and productivity.
Responsibilities for a Warehouse Worker Contractor include but are not limited to:
Order Picking & Packing
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Handle items typically 5-10 lbs, never exceeding 50 lbs.
Perform label scanning, carton building, strapping/banding, and basic machine-assisted tasks (e.g., pressing operational buttons).
AutoStore Automation Area
Work within a robotic bin retrieval system.
Receive product bins delivered by robots at pick ports.
Remove items from bins and place them into outbound cartons; complete shipment prep steps.
Shipping & Trailer Loading
Move packed boxes through the shipping workflow.
Hand-load cartons into UPS trailers following safety and loading pattern guidelines.
Material Handling
Occasional use of manual pallet jacks as needed.
Candidates for Warehouse Worker Contractor must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Fast-paced, repetitive tasks with frequent bending, reaching, and stretching.
Mandatory pre-shift stretching and micro-breaks.
Standing and constant movement for the entire shift.
Ability to maintain high accuracy in a repetitive, process-driven environment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Steel-toe safety shoes (required).

Pay Details: $24.77 per week
