Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the transition of mentees from the facility to the community. This position will be part-time contract and onsite.

What You'll Do

Serve as the Statewide Reentry Liaison, supporting the transition of mentees from the facility to the community by providing support to both the mentees and their mentors

Collaborate closely with HOPE's Executive Director and Site Coordinators to exchange updates on mentors, mentees, and reentry-related events and programming

Organize and support HOPE special events such as the "Dress Your Best" workshops

Work as the Statewide Co-Mentoring Director to coordinate mentoring relationships among three juvenile facilities

Monitor mentor progress on HOPE training modules, respond to mentor logs, and facilitate communication between mentors and the facilities

Arrange facility trainings for HOPE mentors

Work with transition coordinators to coordinate virtual mentoring sessions.

Support student employment initiatives as part of reentry by assisting with job searches, resume writing, and interview skills training

What You'll Need

Required:

Strong communication and organizational skills to liaise between mentors, mentees, and program staff

Ability to organize workshops and trainings

Preferred:

Experience with mentoring programs

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$17.10 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
