GENERAL PURPOSE: Help create and grow satisfied customers by courteously receiving all calls, entering complete and clear orders from customers and sales forces, soliciting add-on sales, assisting customers, preparing, entering, and monitoring progress of customer orders for strategic accounts, and facilitating production of special projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Supervises special projects through planning and scheduling of work to specific accounts.

Manages special packaging projects using analysis and implementing improvements that reflect cost benefits.

Provides single point of contact for strategic customers and sales staff for specific customer and/or project information.

Serves as primary contact between sales, customer, and internal production operations.

Assists customers at the request of or in the absence of sales.

Develops project time lines and monitors to ensure on-time delivery.

Initiates, tracks, organizes, prioritizes and monitors multiple projects through order entry, planning, production, and fulfillment.

Provides continuous assistance/communication to production flow.

Uses creative problem solving to achieve sales and customer objectives.

Provides prompt communication to the customer and sales representative regarding existing challenges in meeting requested ship dates.

Communicates customer expectations to planning and scheduling.

Gathers input, evaluates and makes recommendations from technical standpoint concerning cost, production schedule, etc. based on customers needs.

Compares in-coming work specifications with specifications used for estimate; recognizes changes in job specifications requiring re-estimation.

Receives, evaluates, and distributes customer supplied materials and/or information to appropriate department(s).

Interprets requests for developmental and other artwork and communicates needs to appropriate department(s).

Prepares quotation request for estimators and presents appropriate quotes to customers both internal and external as required.

Reviews costing and invoicing to ensure agreement with signed quotes.

Remains "on call" to answer production questions.

Maintains accurate, written records of all events; alerts both internal staff and customer if significant problems affect either scheduled delivery or final job cost (e.g., heavy, multiple customer alterations).

Assists sales in technical communications to customers.

Assists in securing new business.

Participates in customer visits and presentations on and off site.

Ensures assigned staff meets performance and quality goals on a daily basis.

Identifies, documents and drives departmental metrics including on time deliveries, NCRs, invoice cycles, credit processing, and other metrics required by the company.

Ensures training is conducted in Safety, GMPs, Quality systems rules and procedures.

Ensures compliance to all company policies and procedures.

Functions well in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Understands the functions and capabilities of various departments and uses those resources effectively.

Navigates well through other departments.

Analyzes root causes and solves problems effectively and in a timely manner.

Uses data to improve productivity.

Leads, motivates, and inspires individual workers and teams.

Leads change.

Owns issues and problems, seeing them through to resolution.

Identifies with and supports company leadership and company decisions.

Informs management of issues when necessary.

Provides basic tech support for customers using our websites.

Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

Associate's or bachelor\u2019s degree is preferred.

Minimum two years' related experience.

Proficient using MicroSoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrates understanding of product/project specifications.

Demonstrates understanding of the functions and capabilities of each production area.

Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Must be detail-oriented with effective follow through.

Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Must be reliable and able to maintain good attendance.

Must pass color vision test.

Must pass color hue test.

Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
