Summary Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) mission is to lead the Department of Defense (DoD) in finance and accounting by ensuring the delivery of efficient, exceptional quality pay and financial information. Responsibilities Serves as a lead financial management analyst in Enterprise Audit Services, Metrics and Initiatives Office to drive execution consistency (process and tools) and facilitate automation across the reporting model landscape. Serves as an expert creating easy-to-use models that help the leadership team track the agency's operational health and make better decisions at all levels, including Operations, Strategy and Support, and the Director's Office. Manages unit testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing Cognos Analytics visualization models to adhere with information security protocols, model performance and quality of products to improve front-end user experiences. Create and maintain documentation related to change control demands, work products, processes, and change management initiatives with new technologies. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and mission area business analysts. Serve in Developer Role and assist with business intelligence and data management of metric program to drive continuous improvement.
