Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for the installation of new equipment and systems, as well as conducting preventative and corrective maintenance. The role also includes providing on-call assistance and contributing to internal process improvements.

Responsibilities

Perform installation of new equipment and systems.

Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on plant operational equipment such as Slitting, Packing, and Core Cutting, both manual and robotic.

Identify and address malfunctions of plant operational equipment.

Monitor plant equipment operation and performance, making necessary adjustments to meet performance specifications.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and communicate the status of operating equipment to the plant team.

Maintain logs, reports, work requests, and other records of work performed.

Create work instructions for production processes of new equipment.

Train appropriate personnel on new equipment and systems.

Generate and implement ideas for internal product and process improvements.

Prioritize low-cost projects and submit large projects for approval.

Assemble project improvement equipment, including items fabricated in-house.

Essential Skills

Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, including 480v wiring and diagnostics.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience in gears, bearings, shafts, and pins.

Experience with PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Knowledge of three-phase systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58420.00 - $68640.00/yr.
