Painter- 1st shift $70k

Job Description

Join our dynamic team and contribute to creating an efficient operation where all can thrive! As a Painter, you will perform industrial painting duties in a productive manner, utilizing your skills in painting, paint booth operations, and industrial painting techniques.

Responsibilities

Prepare paint by mixing components accurately.

Prepare surfaces before painting and apply specified coatings of paint.

Utilize conventional and high-volume, low-pressure spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes, and other related equipment.

Apply technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure acceptable application.

Report to management upon job completion or if there are problems/discrepancies with the jobs or equipment.

Maintain paint inventory, dispose of residual materials appropriately, and keep work area clean and organized.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and safety procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Skills

Oral and written communication skills.

Painting and basic hand tool skills.

Basic math and reading skills.

Organization and time management skills.

Forklift operation.

Ability to lift 60 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior warehouse, manufacturing, painting, or work-related experience helpful.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Lexington, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
