You will engage with regional organizations, partners, and individuals to build relationships, deliver education, and recruit, train, retain, and coordinate volunteers to support Senior LinkAge Line programs and services effectively. To stay current with Medicare content, you will also answer calls on the Senior LinkAge Line phone line one day per week. WORK SCHEDULE This position works, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with two-three in office days per week and remaining time spent working from home or in the community. This position may require some nights and weekend schedules. When working offsite, employees must meet specific internet criteria including demonstrated high speed connect ability and the ability to meet privacy and security standards with secure (password protected) internet and demonstrate successful performance. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services-related field, such as social work, nursing, public administration, or gerontology, and one year of professional or internship experience working with older adults; or Two-year certificate or degree in a human services-related field or a community health certificate with three years of experience working with older adults; OR Five years of relevant professional experience working with older adults at a nursing facility, assisted living, hospital, home care, lead agency, etc. The ideal candidate is an experienced public speaker with strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. They are strategic, manage time well, and can handle multiple tasks and responsibilities. They would have as understanding of community resources, public assistance programs, and Medicare.
