Overview The Accessioning Technician will be responsible for the
accurate and timely entry of various @types of patient information into
databases. This includes assisting accessioning staff with entry of
client orders for testing (accessioning) and entry of other pertinent
information in databases, as requested. Shift: Monday-Friday, rotating
Saturdays 11am-4pm Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the
following: Follow all standard operating procedures specific to assigned
department/laboratory, which may include, but is not limited to, the
following: Receive and open packages of patient specimens for
accessioning; Accession samples into clinical database; Enter/scan all
relevant patient/institutional data into database(s) and ensure
accuracy. Apply strong interpersonal and communication skills. Apply

training. Apply good listening skills. Apply problem analysis and
problem-solving skills. Apply effective time management skills. Display
respect for and ability to maintain professionalism. Ability to maintain

procedures. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Ability to act

organization. Ability to work designated schedule. Ability to work
seated for approximately 10% of a typical working day. Ability to work
standing for approximately 90% of a typical working day. Ability to
comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
