Description

We are looking for an experienced Remote PART-TIME bookkeeper or senior accountant. This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and excels in financial management and accounting processes. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Handle company credit card transactions, including reconciliation and reporting.

Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain and update financial records.

Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial statements.

Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Generate detailed financial reports for management review.

Requirements

Proven experience in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.

Expertise in account and bank reconciliations.

Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and its functionalities.

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.

Ability to reconcile company credit card transactions efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
