Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Melbourne, Florida. In this Contract to Hire position, you will play a key role in supporting essential accounting functions, including invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliations. Responsibilities:

Perform reconciliations for accounts to maintain accurate financial records.

Assist in handling general accounting tasks, including data entry and ledger updates.

Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Maintain organized and secure financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.

Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to financial transactions.

Provide support for special projects and ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth accounting operations.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies.

Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
