Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role is focused on Salesforce systems, requiring expertise in aligning technical solutions with business strategies to deliver optimized user experiences. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions tailored to organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

Act as the Salesforce subject matter expert, translating business requirements into technical specifications and scalable system designs.

Lead the optimization of Salesforce functionality, including automation workflows and data integrity, to support strategic business objectives.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure solutions align with compliance standards and organizational goals.

Partner with stakeholders to identify operational needs and define system goals for Salesforce enhancements.

Facilitate design sessions and proto@type new Salesforce features to improve business processes and information flow.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce designs, workflows, and integration maps.

Analyze current practices and implement enhancements to continuously improve Salesforce workflows.

Ensure that all Salesforce designs include proper security measures and controls.

Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce-related incidents while adhering to established problem management processes.

Represent Salesforce modifications and projects in forums such as Change Control Boards and technical review meetings. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or related roles with a strong attention to detail.

Expertise in Salesforce architecture, design, and system optimization.

Strong ability to document, analyze, and map technical workflows and data processes.

Proven experience in integrating business requirements into functional Salesforce solutions.

Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting technical designs.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing system incidents effectively.

Knowledge of best practices in compliance, configuration management, and automation workflows. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
