Job Description:
Join our team as a Production Associate where you will be responsible for transferring, stocking, loading, and unloading materials for the production lines. These materials include a variety of components such as diffusers, holders, retainers, initiators, o-rings, end caps, sleeves, canisters, filters, tubes, disks, foil seals, springs, support barrels, shorting clips, labels, and generant. You may also be required to check, correct, or perform rework of inflators and conduct quality procedures and audits, including dimensional checks.
Responsibilities
Transfer, stock, load, and unload materials for production lines.
Check, correct, or perform rework of inflators.
Perform quality procedures and audits, including dimensional checks.
Ensure the smooth running of production operations by handling various materials.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing.
Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours per day.
Comfortable dealing with explosives.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in automated equipment operation.
Physical ability to lift, push, or pull 40 lbs regularly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
General labor experience.
Knowledge in general production and manufacturing processes.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment using automated production equipment to make airbag inflators. Note that no lighters, matches, cigarettes, chewing tobacco, vape pens, or e-cigarettes are allowed on site and must remain in vehicles. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, 2nd shift: 2 PM - 10:30 PM, 3rd shift: 10 PM - 6:30 AM. The first day will always be on a Tuesday from 8 AM - 4:30 PM, with regular shifts commencing the following day. Be prepared to work 6-7 days a week with rotating days off, providing equal opportunities for weekend breaks. Regular schedules are Monday-Friday, but currently include weekend work.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.55/hr.

There are 3 different assembly positions. this one is for General assembler.
Machine Assembler (0)
Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.
MIG welding, plasma cutting and metal fabrication experience is a plus.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
Finish Machine Assembler (0)
Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.
Position involves some wiring, installation of engines, hydraulic components and hoses, decals and lights on painted machines.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
General Assembler (2)
Candidates need to be mechanically inclined, have knowledge and experience with hand and air powered tools and be able to read a tape measure.
Position involves the assembly of a wide range of parts needed for the assembly of the larger units.
Candidate could possibly be utilized as a machine operator for the Band Saw, Brake press, Plate Roller, Plasma Tables etc.
