In this role, you will be overseeing the open of the Hotel de Coronado's Nobu Restaurant, managing a team of 75 Front of House Team Members, reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage.
The ideal candidate willmust be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations ( ex. financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations ). At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in an upscale dining environment is required. Strong beverage knowledge and prior luxury hotel experience are a plus.

Shift: Various - must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $110,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Marking the continued expansion of The Del's culinary experiences, Nobu Del Coronado will be the newest addition to the world-renowned Japanese restaurant empire founded by Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro.
Nobu Del Coronado will offer over 3,700 square feet of stunning indoor and al fresco oceanfront dining space, including an outdoor covered patio dining with a pagoda bar and dedicated sushi bar.
What will I be doing:
As a Restaurant General Manager , you would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a high-end restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining quality standards, managing staff and driving profitability, with a strong focus on delivering a refined and sophisticated dining experience for guests; this includes managing the dining room team, maintaining meticulous attention to detail, and upholding the restaurant's reputation for excellence.
Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
Foster a positive and professional work environment, motivating staff to consistently deliver exceptional service.
Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, conducting counseling and coaching, and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to attract new customers and maintain brand image.
Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
Maximize efficiency technology system(s) (i.e. Open Table)
Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue, including, but not limited to, creating new menus and cross-selling products and services hotel-wide
Recruit, interview and train team members
Complete administrative tasks
Establishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand
All other duties as assigned.
