Schedule: Days | Full-time | 8:30am-5:00pm | Tues, Wed, Fri Kokomo, Mon, Thurs Frankfort

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, obtain medical history and vital signs, and assist physicians during exams and procedures.

Collect and process lab specimens, perform basic on-site tests, administer medications/injections, change dressings, and remove sutures as directed.

Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage patient check-in, handle referrals, and obtain insurance pre-authorizations.

Document patient information accurately in the EHR, maintain records, and assist with billing, coding, and insurance processing.

Sterilize equipment, manage supply inventory, and strictly adhere to all HIPAA (patient confidentiality) and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
