Rush Copley Medical Center, in Aurora, Illinois, part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, invites applications for the position of Obstetrics & Gynecology Advanced Practice Provider . This provider will be supporting the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology with primary responsibility being surgical first assist, inpatient rounding and post-operative care.
As a First Assist Surgical Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in both obstetric and gynecologic surgical care, supporting a full spectrum of procedures and clinical needs. This includes first-assisting during cesarean deliveries, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries, and routine gynecologic operative cases. You will work in close collaboration with obstetric and gynecologic surgeons to ensure seamless, high-quality surgical support.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday, hours varied between7am and 5pm.
21 beds L&D Unit
Operating room, inpatient, and outpatient care
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants with previous Advanced Practice Provider experience in women's health or related specialty is preferred, not required. Relevant RN experience may be considered.
APRN Candidates will require Acute Care Certification and First Assistant Certification.
Position Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner:
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
Masterof Science in Nursing orDoctorate of Nursingpractice with clinical specialtyappropriate toposition
Current certification by American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Physician Assistant:
Current licensure from the State of Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible to obtain a licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) application process
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
TheAdvanced Practice Provider (APP)will promote collaboration between multiple disciplines to ensure cost effective and quality patient care. Successful candidates will also meet all other state and federal regulatorypracticeand accreditation standards.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to,specialty;relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that maybe applicableto this role.Additionalcompensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $105,000- $158,000
