Responsibilities
Dartmouth Health is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join a highly regarded, growing Pain Management team in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced pain physicians and advanced practice providers, delivering comprehensive evaluations and ongoing care for patients with complex pain and spine conditions.
The role is fully integrated within a team-based care model, with close collaboration across Orthopaedics, Spine, and Pain services to support high-quality, patient-centered care. The position is primarily based at the Academic Medical Center, with community outreach to system member locations 2–3 days per week. All outreach sites are within a 30-minute commute, offering variety in practice without sacrificing work-life balance.

About the role:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of pain conditions in an outpatient setting.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and non-pharmacologic therapies.
Perform interventional pain procedures as appropriate within scope of practice.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
Educate patients and families on pain management strategies and expectations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Required Licensure/Certifications
Requirements for Nurse Practitioners: RN and APRN currently (or eligible) licensed in NH. Successful completion of an approved NP program and certification required (FNP, ANP or AGNP, ACAGNP all accepted).
Requirements for Physician Assistant: Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the state of New Hampshire. Academic preparation at the Master's level is required.
2+ years of Advanced Practice procedural experience preferred, although highly motivated new grads with relevant experience will be considered.
