Description

Our client seeking a Jr. Paralegal to join their team in Brea, California, supporting legal operations in the transportation equipment manufacturing industry. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in intellectual property and civil litigation, as well as experience drafting legal documents and pleadings.

Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with intellectual property cases by conducting research and organizing relevant documentation.

Support civil litigation processes, including case preparation and document management.

Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Maintain organized records of case files and ensure timely updates to legal databases.

Collaborate with legal teams to prepare for court proceedings and client meetings.

Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide insights to attorneys.

Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in all assigned tasks.

Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates.

Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet project goals efficiently.

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling and correspondence.

Requirements - Proven experience in intellectual property and civil litigation.

Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation.

Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents with attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills to manage case files and deadlines.

Ability to conduct thorough legal research and present findings effectively.

Strong communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

Familiarity with legal databases and technology tools.

A paralegal certificate or equivalent education and experience in the legal field.
