Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team in El Segundo, California. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to grow their careers. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounting records.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial records.

Perform billing functions, including creating and verifying invoices to ensure timely payments.

Conduct account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Support general accounting operations by preparing journal entries and maintaining ledgers.

Utilize advanced Excel formulas to analyze financial data and generate reports.

Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies as needed.

Provide support during audits by organizing documentation and responding to inquiries. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.

Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Experience with account reconciliation and billing processes is preferred.

Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
