Position OverviewUnited Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide on-site musculoskeletal health and ergonomic support services in partnership with The Raymond Corporation. This role is embedded within the manufacturing environment to lead Early Symptom Intervention (ESI) services and deliver proactive ergonomic and musculoskeletal injury-prevention support for employees.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills and thrives in collaborative partnerships with manufacturing leadership and care teams. Strong clinical reasoning, communication skills, and a prevention-focused, workforce-centered approach are essential.

Compensation Range:
$40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience

Job Responsibilities:
Perform non-diagnostic functional screenings for employees reporting early musculoskeletal discomfort and provide brief movement-based education to prevent symptom progression.
Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services, including evaluations, goal-oriented treatment plans, and skilled interventions, adjusting care based on patient response and safety considerations.
Conduct ergonomic assessments in partnership with Safety, Occupational Medicine, and site leadership to identify job-related risks and recommend practical task or workstation modifications.
Coach employees on safe movement, body mechanics, and work-tolerance strategies to reduce injury risk and support job performance.
Monitor for treatment-related side effects or complications and take appropriate action.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of screenings, treatments, education, and clinical outcomes.
Coordinate with Occupational Medicine and external rehabilitation providers to support timely referral and continuity of care when needed.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, receiving applicable degree in physical therapy study with Bachelors or Master's Degree or equivalent.
Possession of a current license or eligibility to be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York.
CPR certification within the first 3 months of hire
Preferred:
Master's or Doctorate Degree; Previous physical therapy experience in a hospital-based setting.
