What You'll Do:
Keep Our Banking Systems Running Smoothly You'll be the go-to person for our Bank applications-from our Banking Core system to retail and online banking platforms. Your day involves responding to support requests, troubleshooting issues, and making sure everything runs optimally with minimal downtime.
Maintain and Improve Our Technology Handle the technical details: set up user accounts, apply updates and patches, coordinate with vendors, and ensure our systems stay secure and perform at their best. You'll monitor system health, manage file transfers, and tackle cleanup activities that keep everything humming.
Be a Technical Problem Solver When something goes wrong, you'll dig in to figure out why. You'll analyze problems, escalate when needed, and work with internal teams and vendors to get issues resolved quickly.
Document and Communicate Create clear documentation and diagrams of our systems. Keep users, management, and IT team members informed about what's happening with our applications. You'll use tools like MS-Word, MS-Excel, and Visio to make complex systems understandable.
Work with Data and Reports Build reports using our supported reporting tools and write database queries to help users get the information they need. Your SQL skills will come in handy here.
Manage Changes Carefully Follow our change management processes when upgrading or modifying systems. Coordinate both planned and unplanned outages with everyone who needs to know.
Support Security and Compliance Help maintain our Information Security Program and ensure we're meeting all regulatory requirements. Data security, integrity, and confidentiality are critical elements of this role.
Collaborate Across Teams Work harmoniously with business partners throughout the Bank. You'll coordinate tasks and provide technical assistance to users and fellow IT staff when they need it.
What You Bring:
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience required
Business or military experience is a plus
Technical Skills
Database knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL preferred
Knowledge of IBM Cognos BI a plus
Familiarity with virtual server and desktop technologies
Understanding of XML and related markup languages
Experience with automation and workflow systems
Documentation skills using MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-Visio
Experience with Jack Henry and their line of business products (4|sight, Argo, Synergy, eSign) is a plus

What to Expect:
This is a general office environment where you'll need to be comfortable with moderate lifting (up to 35 lbs.) and moderate reaching, walking, sitting, and standing. You'll use standard office equipment and may occasionally need to provide after-hours coverage.
