Job Description

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is located in the center of the bustling Seaport District. TheOmni Care HR Internwill be responsible for providing administrative & project support for the Human Resources Department.

Hourly rate for this position: $22.00

Responsibilities

Function as administrative support to the Human Resources department

Maintain various employee communication channels by updating regularly with creative, visually-appealing and relevant information

Recruitment process support including basic pre-screening applicants, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks

Assist employees with HR related questions regarding policies & procedures

Ensure accurate employee records and timely file maintenance

Maintain file of previous applicants and monitor compliance to document retention policy

Assist with preparation of New Hire Materials for Onboarding & Orientation

Maintain central filing for common forms and replenish HR forms inside and outside the office.

Assist in administration and execution of OMNI programs.

Assist in planning & execution of employee engagement activities & events.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.

Human Resource experience preferred

MUST have above average computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Internet research, and the ability to quickly learn new software.

Experience using Canva

Must be a self-starter and able to successfully complete projects with minimal oversight.

Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.

Ability to promote and maintain the Omni Service philosophy atmosphere in the HR office.
