The Konflux group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us in the US. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of software components, systems, and sub-features. Additionally, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams on these deliverables and to improve system performance and functionality. You will exercise good judgment and is responsible for working with minimal instruction while making sound decisions to resolve moderately complex technical issues.
In your role, you will gain understanding of Red Hat's internal continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and toolchain, directly working with technologies such as Kubernetes/OpenShift, Tekton, ArgoCD, and internal services that enable Red Hat releasing products and services.

What you will bring
Ability to work with new and fast-changing technologies with a high level of uncertainty, reacting to changes in requirements quickly
Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning and adapting to new challenges
Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent working experience
At least 4 years of experience writing code in Golang, JAVA, or Python
Experience working on shared codebases using source control management (SCM) systems like GitHub or GitLab
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Experience working with Linux as a developer
Experience with building & debugging applications on Kubernetes clusters
Experience building and running containerized applications and controllers
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and microservices architecture
The following is considered a plus
Experience with IBM cloud
Experience in Terraform
Experience in Tekton
Experience in CD tools, e.g. ArgoCD
Experience building CICD pipelines
Experience in Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
Experience in Open Source development
Experience defining requirements between application components
Experience in DevSecOps or Product Security
Experience with OpenShift
Experience with Operator Lifecycle Manager (OLM)
Experience with performance optimization work

The salary range for this position is $118,600.00 - $195,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
