Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Jonesboro, Arkansas. In this role, you will handle various accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic accounting environment.

Responsibilities:

Record journal entries based on bank statements and other financial documents.

Assist in reconciling bank accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.

Perform general ledger tasks, including updates and maintenance.

Process invoices and verify supporting documentation for accuracy.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Utilize QuickBooks to track and manage financial data.

Input financial information accurately into databases and systems.

Support the team with additional accounting tasks as needed. Requirements - Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Experience with QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting.

Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Knowledge of invoice processing procedures.

Familiarity with general ledger functions and financial reconciliations.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
